Filipina beauty queen Nichole Manalo returned to the Philippines early Wednesday after being declared 3rd runner-up in Miss Globe 2016 held in Albania last week.

The Filipina beauty’s title as 3rd runner-up was not announced during coronation night in Tirana, Albania last November 25.

The organizers announced later that Manalo was the pageant’s 3rd runner-up and explained that her name was not announced because “the emcee forgot to take the third and fourth runner-up envelopes.” A belated coronation was held for Manalo and 4th runner-up Miss South Africa. During the coronation, Manalo thanked Filipinos around the world for their support.
